School Programs
The program consists of an entertaining and educational assembly (50 -60 min), followed by hands-on instructional clinics in your P.E. classes for the balance of the day. The first half of the assembly, suitable for all ages, is titled SPIN FUN AND SAFETY. The second segment is the SCIENCE OF SPIN suitable for students in third grade and up. Through multiple demonstrations and class participation, students are introduced to the concepts of gyroscopic stability, rotational inertia, planes of spin and distribution of mass, friction & levers.
This program is voted # 1 favorite by the students and teachers and your school and enjoy it free of charge!
OPTION # 1 : NO FEE
The Schools only obligation is to provide for the sale of yo-yos and/or spin tops through the PTA or school store and to allow yo-yo and/or spin top practice during recess periods or P.E. classes for a minimum of five school days following the assembly. Sales go through the school store, P.E. instructor, P.T.A., Main office, etc.
Fund-raising For Your School
Students do not need to buy yo-yos or spin tops, however they will be available for those students who would like to own their own. The school will receive 10 % of the sale.
A Fun and Safe Recess Activity
Costs are $6 for the standard fixed axle yo-yo that is the same as the yo-yos used during the P.E. classes and $12 for a roller bearing model.
The allowance of time during recess for students to practice their yo-yo or spin top skills is an important part of this option.
Safety is very important in any activity and is taught and emphasized during the assembly and the P.E. classes. Jennifer will enforce these rules of safety during the P.E. class instruction through examples.
The yo-yo is an exceptional hand-eye coordination tool.
It can act as a tool that increases ones self-esteem, concentration and motivation.
The students enjoy building their skills and teaching their classmates.

The program is also available without the obligation of yo-yo sales and recess play for the regular price of $595 for a full-day or $350 for the assembly only,
